It is still Day 1 at Amazon. While we have grown quickly over last few years there are still many consumers who have yet to shop with us. The Reach team, within the India Consumer Engagement team, is responsible to launch and experiment new initiatives that drive demand from new pools of prospective customers, helping Amazon reach the next 100MM customers. Your biggest charter would be new customer acquisition through Amazon Easy (internally called Project Udaan) - Amazon's assisted shopping program. You will scout existing third party networks, build strategic propositions that produce value for all parties (Amazon / 3P network / Store owner / End Consumer). You will also efficiently negotiate terms and close deals with these partners. Internally, you will work with functions that cut across the organization including technology, partner integration and category managers, to drive great customer experience for our partners. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong analytical as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative climate. The role will require expertise both in internal team project management as well as working with leaders at major companies to strengthen partner relations and obsess over customer care. Maximizing these partnerships requires identifying new potential within partner segments, developing scalable account management strategies and driving results for both Amazon and our partners. The right person will: - Own monthly recruitment, unit and revenue growth objectives - Identify new opportunities with existing partners by becoming an expert in their evolving needs. - Create simplified solutions for partner integrations - Identify and recruit new partners for the program An ideal candidate will be highly analytical and detail-oriented, possess superior communication skills, be comfortable working independently, enjoy having a wide range of responsibilities and thrive on solving challenging problems in ambiguous environments that may require solutions to be created. - Candidates must demonstrate a superior track record for execution, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, and successful in all phases of account management including prospecting, acquisition, integration, scaling and retention of partners. - Requirements include a minimum of 5 years of Business Development/Account Management/Sales experience. We will bias towards candidates that have experience building out and managing physical distribution networks (FMCG, Telco, FMCD etc.) Basic Requirements : - MBA required; - 5+ years experience in a similar role - The candidate will have succeeded in delivering top results in a high growth environment and will have thrived in ambiguity and shifting priorities. - Have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, and an intense customer focus. - Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts.
