Manager 3P Carrier-Program Management

Amazon India seeks proven rainmakers to be a key member of the 3P Transportation team. This position will be focused on growing and managing transportation network in India, with many - first of its kind- market models being developed and deployed. This role requires the ability to innovate, deliver results, and drive a better understanding of our business through the introduction, development, and management of 3P carriers.

In this role you'll have exposure to teams across supply chain, operations, finance, and other key groups across while having the responsibility to define and execute on key transportation initiatives having a direct impact on customer experience and financial viability of deliveries

Responsibilities :

Developing new and maintaining existing operations partners

Analyzing changes in key indicators and deep diving into root causes

Supporting new business initiatives by collaborating with product managers, technology teams, and finance stakeholders to analyze and understand requirements and match them with carrier capabilities

Work with various engineering teams in developing technology components to monitor and improve carrier performance and customer experience

Working with carrier finance to develop new costing models and innovate to simplify carrier evaluation

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

MBA Preferred from B schools

Attention to detail; an aptitude for solving unstructured problems, and strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong program management skills and deep dive capabilities

Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguous inputs and tight timelines

Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel

Experience in handling large commercial carrier negotiations, costing and procurement

Preferred Qualifications :

Six Sigma certification / Lean process management

Prior experience in managing 3P carriers/vendors
