Amazon is looking for an experienced business leader for the role of Head- Advertising Sales [3P] to help grow seller advertising business in India. This role will have the opportunity to define and execute the advertising strategy for selling partners on Amazon.in via a large team of account managers and business development managers. This team provides key advertising inputs to selling partners by establishing critical internal and partner relationships and by driving adoption wide array of Amazon India's advertising products.

Head- Advertising Sales [3P] will work closely with senior Amazon leadership teams as well as global product and business organizations to offer the right advertising products to the right advertiser audiences, optimized for the India market. The person will have a good understanding of the India digital advertising and ecommerce landscape, and be able to drive mutually-beneficial customer and partner relationships to scale the business in long-term.

The ideal candidate will have key account sales or key account management background in the digital advertising space with direct revenue responsibility, proven track record of managing large teams of client facing account managers, winning strategic customers/signing strategic long-term partnerships, upselling and cross selling various advertising products.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as a key leader of advertising business development team, helping to drive overall Amazon Advertising strategy and business growth.

2. Build scale into the business development function by collaborating with internal stakeholders (program managers, sales and account teams) to develop joint business plans and upsell opportunities with coherent messaging/positioning for selling partners.

3. Establish and build strong long-term relationships with advertisers on Amazon. Act as the advertisers- advocate to evangelize for their success working with Amazon India, by partnering with product, account management, support, and global technology teams to drive advertiser success on Amazon.

4. Contribute to the overall growth and profit of Amazon India's business by expanding our partner ecosystem.

5. Own the GTM inputs for full funnel advertising solutions for seller advertising account management team. Work with program stakeholders to build relevant solutions, build capabilities across account management team for full funnel planning and execution.

6. 'Hire & Develop' a large team of Amazon business development mangers and Account managers as per Amazon leadership principles.
