DESCRIPTION This role is a new IC position for the position of Content Evaluation Specialist in the Consumer Engagement team. The desired profile will be someone who has a strong understanding of the Hindi language and its nuances while being equally proficient in English as well. A key responsibility of this role would be to define, build and maintain Amazon Shopping Experience in Hindi and helping all teams generate Hindi content. The candidate should be a highly creative individual contributor, with a talent for engaging people in interesting conversations. His/her knowledge of Hindi and English language must be exceptional, with a higher index on Hindi. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Native Hindi Speaker - Professional Level writing skills in Hindi for an Indian audience - Excellent English comprehension, both written and verbal, for an Indian audience - At least 7-8 years of professional translation experience from English to Hindi and vice-versa - Working knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel - Pivot tables) - Experience in defining glossary, style guide and terminology - Strong individual contributor with a team spirit, with an ability to work across multiple teams &amp; ability to exercise high standards for quality while meeting tight deadlines - Strong creative and conceptual thinker PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master's degree in translation - Creativity, flexibility, willingness to take ownership - Knowledge of VBA, Python or another programming language a plus Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
