DESCRIPTION Category Manager in Amazon Fashion team will act as the business owner for her/his categories, driving world-class customer experience in one of the fastest growing categories in the country. The person who joins this team must share our passion and commitment for serving our customers. She/he must be able to balance a razor sharp focus on solving for the customer needs while driving operational excellence in execution. We are looking for self-starters with strong analytical skills and result-orientation who can make and execute independent, data-driven decisions. The Category Managers primary responsibilities will include: - Owning the entire customer experience for her/his category right from building the category strategy based on right growth levers and driving the execution to the end - Owning customer experience metrics and data quality and developing scalable processes deliver customer-delight - Partnering closely with cross functional teams like product, marketing, ops, seller teams as well as brand partners to deliver on goals - Managing relationships with key brand and vendors BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MBA from a tier 1 institution - 4+ years experience in fmcg marketing /consulting / program management - Strong communication skills - Demonstrated data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills - Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail - Proven experience of comfortable with hands-on management of tasks while managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Prior experience in Retail / Category Management with experience in e-commerce is an additional plus
