Company : Amante - MAS Brands India Pvt Ltd  DEPARTMENT : Range Management  JOB TITLE : Assistant Manager - Range Management  Reporting :   This position will report to the National Head - Sales & Operation for all day to day operational areas and BTL activities, but will be guided by the National Head for all strategic decisions on Products, Therefore all Brand related communication need to be approved by the CEO  Role :   Market Analysis Market size, price points, growth segment - Market as a whole   Market/ Product mapping Silhouettes, consumer needs, gaps, slot in all your competitors products against yours on a map to see where each competitor is playing. Identify product features, consumer benefit/ needs- eg: strapless  Competitor product analysis Unique features of competitor offerings, Unique positioning   Market gap analysis (opportunity analysis) Gaps, opportunities (padded non wired- what more can we do)  Consumer Insights :   Understanding + talking to consumers to have clarity in what they want. Visibility at operating outlets.  Research :   Consumer research, usage + attitudes lifestyles etc  Focus groups :   Have a core group on the different regions to test fit, style, additional needs/gaps- wearer trials etc. (amant- brand ambassadors)   Consumer feedback :   Specific feedback (and consistent feedback) to critically understand needs. (AW 14 why not working)  Scientific approach towards feedback Style recommendation Core range addition/deletion based on (1-8) feedback. Logical and standard process towards add/delete/recommend.   Range selection :   Have clarity what the brand stands for and trade up on the brand/ product and not copy competition Style deletion   Follow process and pre-planning, managing inventory, stocks at different locations and phase out plan.   Seasonal presentation :   Present the seasonal ranges for internal/external marketing.   Product launch :   Ensure product delivered on time, coordination. Keep internal teams updated.   Pricing and margin management :   Working with PD teams to get pricing right. Be rational about product attributes, needs and price points required.  Understand the product /price / attributes by segment.   SKU performance analysis   SKU performance (individual store)- Existing format  Ongoing process and monitoring process has to start early for future elimination.   SKU portfolio management   Overall review, rational way of keeping the SKU count at a manageable and productive level.  What do you want to add/delete-   PERSONAL PROFILE :   - University graduate (with marketing/ business management) or Professionally qualified (CIM or relevant Marketing qualification)  - Analytical and methodical  - Able to plan and think ahead  - Capacity to conceptualize  - Team player, ability to connect  - Capacity to motivate and learn in a team  - Lateral thinking mindset, think out of the box  - Achiever  - Interpersonal skills  - Presentation and communication skills.
