Job Title: Business Analysis Chartered Accountant (CA)

Job Description:

As a Business Analysis Chartered Accountant (CA) in Amala Earth (e-commerce marketplace), your primary responsibility is to provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, marketing, and product development to analyse financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improving business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including but not limited to revenue analysis, cost analysis, profitability analysis, and variance analysis to identify key business drivers and areas for improvement.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts by providing accurate financial projections based on historical data and market trends.

3. Performance Metrics Tracking: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track business performance against targets. Analyse variances and trends to understand underlying causes and recommend corrective actions as needed.

4. Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and actionable insights. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

5. Business Strategy Support: Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate new business opportunities, assess financial feasibility, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

6. Cost Optimisation: Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements across various business functions. Work closely with operational teams to implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.

7. Risk Management: Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial health of the organisation. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact the business.

8. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, marketing, and product development to support business initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in the e-commerce industry.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.

- Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
