Role Description : - Reach out to media-tech firms globally and source deals for investments and acquisitions. - Lead various parts of an M&A and investment transaction as the company grows inorganically. - Play a leading role in all aspects of the company's fundraising process from VCs - including financial modeling, presentations, assisting with due diligence and analyzing/negotiating transaction documents. - Lead competitive intelligence for the company - staying on top of industry trends, and the strategic steps of competitors and customers. Publish internal weekly reports on these findings for the benefit of sales, marketing, product and other teams in the company. - Reach out and network with the thought leaders of the industry and equity research analysts covering the stocks of publicly traded competitors. - Develop inorganic strategy and help in identification of M&A and minority investment opportunities, and execution of such transactions. Develop a profile of M&A targets and investment opportunities on an ongoing basis. - Analyze monthly and quarterly performance of the company using MIS and benchmark it to the quarterly performance of competitors. - Assist with execution of strategic projects in the company. - Assist with fundraising transactions of the company. Requirements : 1. 3-5 years of strategy consulting experience at a leading global management consulting firm with exposure to strategy development (growth strategy, entry strategy), M&A and commercial DD. MBA from a top institute preferred but not essential. 2. Fluency with financial modeling and adept at analyzing legal documents involved in VC financing and M&A transactions. 3. Strong written skills to publish documents, memos and power point presentations. 4. Willingness to travel internationally as required. Role is based in Bangalore. 5.
