Position: Assistant Manager - Telecom Revenue Management and Risk Advisory

Job Description:

Overall Responsibility:

- Work on Revenue Management advisory engagements spanning Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management and, Customer Experience Analytics. The nature of the engagements may vary from Management Consulting, Strategic Reviews, Solution Integration, Audits, Human Capital Development, Incubation / Pilot Projects and Managed Services.

- Working with and building deep relationships at various levels of the customer and prospect community and secure additional business through leveraging such relationships.

- Supervision and Team Management within engagements

- Provide substantive RA / FM Subject Matter Expertise and work steam leadership learned over multiple engagements. Collaborate with peers and seniors to develop Standardized methodologies, Risk and Control Matrices and Knowledge Database.

- Actively participate in Practice Development through contributing to Business Strategy and Roadmap.

- Generate visibility through active participation in Marketing and Brand Building Activities e.g. Authoring of Whitepapers, speaking at events

- Through interaction with client and project team personnel, the Senior Consultant develops professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service. Serving as both role model and trainer, the Senior Consultant demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency.

Educational & Professional Credentials:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E, B.Tech, MCA) in relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, IT, Electronics and Telecommunications) required

Demonstrated Experience and Competency in the following areas will be preferred:

- 3-4 years working for telecom service providers (fixed, mobile or cable) in an operational capacity, or with a leading Consultancy, Software Vendor or Systems Integrator in a consulting capacity within the Revenue Management space

- 3-4 years tangible Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management consulting experience

- Prior business and management consulting experience within Risk Advisory, Enterprise Risk Management functions.

- Knowledge of Order-to-Cash Lifecycle across Process, Systems, Network Infrastructure & Data

- Experienced leading large teams through process flows analysis, root cause analysis, redesign, implementation, and identifying & correcting key control issues

- Experience with market-leading Revenue Assurance tools

- Ability to work with both Revenue Assurance technical and business experts

- Experience in working with clients to identifying and define Revenue Assurance business, technical, and functional requirements

- 'Big 4' Experience will be an added advantage.

Required Domain Knowledge:

- Deep Understanding of the Global Communications Service Provider Industry

- Specific Operational and Business knowledge of Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management within the Telecom Industry

- Enterprise Risk Management for Telcos

- Sound understanding of telecom operational processes, software and deployment experience as well as revenue-generating aspects of network infrastructure. Ability to map the customer's business, functional and operational needs into proposed solutions / recommendations.

Location: Mumbai

Travel: Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments. Should have a valid passport and should be willing to travel for at least 4 to 6 months a year to Middle East.
