Primary Role Description
- Consult sales and marketing stakeholders on varied business problems
- Conceptualize and implement various descriptive, predictive, prescriptive or simulation based analytical approaches to solve the business problems
- Solve problems such as boosting revenue, productivity, profitability across different sales channels through analytics and data science
Improving Lead Generation
Improving Lead Activation
Improving Conversion Funnel
Improving X-sell, Up-sell performance
Improving Quality of business sourced
Improving renewal performance
- Sales Forecasting and Simulation
- Sales force attrition prediction and pre-emption; Embed analytical intelligence to recruit quality sales force
- Producing meaningful and actionable insights that can be used in decision making and process improvements
- Maintain the prediction models as per business requirements.
- Refresh couple of important dashboards; highlight important business trends and generate actionable insights/recommendations.
Managerial Competencies:
- Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, often working under tight deadlines
- Adapts to a changing environment and approaches challenges with creativity, resourcefulness in problem solving.
- Experience in leading analytical teams and experience of planning and implementing analytical and reporting projects in a fast-paced environment

Key Requirements - Education & Certificates
Minimum Requirement
- B.Sc/ M.Sc in Stats/B.Tech/MBA
- Must Have: Knowledge of SAS EG, SAS E-Miner, SQL
Required Experience:
- 2 to 7 years of experience in sales analytics. (Preferably in BFSI but not mandatory)
- Should have strong analytical bent of mind
- Should have applied statistical techniques like linear & logistic regression, CHAID, CART etc.
- Sound knowledge of SAS, spreadsheet, PPT
- Good to have basic knowledge of insurance industry
