Direct Taxation(Assistant Manager /Manager)

We have an Opening in Telecom Company for Direct Taxation (Assistant Manager/Manager)

Looking from Big four Companies (Added Advantage )

Education:CA

Exp-4-8 years Exp

Principal Accountability :

Tax Audit/ Transfer pricing Audit under Income tax / filing of Tax returns

- Standardizing formats in discussion with tax auditors for circles to prepare info in the given format

- Co-ordinating the audit with auditors and circle finance team

- Review Consolidation at Corporate level

- Discussion and closure of critical tax issues with auditors to finalist tax audit report / Transfer pricing report etc.

- Preparation of IT Returns.

To obtain Exemption and other Tax certificates.

- Preparation of application for obtaining various NoCs from IT authorities

- Liaise with IT authorities in obtaining TDS exemption certificate / other certificates.

Assessments/ appeals of Idea and subsidiaries

- Review of Collated information from circles and ensuring that the data to be furnished with the authorities does not have any exposure.

- Making legal submission on the issues raised during assessment by Assessing officer.

- Maintaining liaison with tax authorities to ensure closure of assessment without significant disallowances.

- Co-ordination with consultant for appeals before various forum.

- To assist & liaise with circles on various tax issues.

- To make legal submissions on the issues raised by TDS authorities.

- To guide/advise circles on corporate stand on the various tax issues.

- To update circles on tax amendments and pronouncements for tighter controls & adequate understanding of the stakeholders towards taxation matters.

- Issue of process notes for proper implementation of tax amendments.

- Imparting knowledge on various court pronouncements impacting the business
