AM/Manager - Data Management - BFSI

KRA :

1. Team leadership : 

- Oversee operation of small data management team

2. Data policy and procedures : 

- Define and gain sign off on data policy

- Establish controls and monitoring to enforce data policy

- Ensure effective communication and cooperation with all stakeholders to implement the data framework as per policies and governance requirements

- Manage the Data Warehouse control framework, including documentation.

- Identify further opportunities to improve processes

3. Data input and management : 

- Work closely with the - Data Providers- to drive data quality and integrity in the central data warehouse

- Oversee bulk data uploads

- Implement automated data input processes and integration initiatives

- Manage the User Access Review and Reference Data update processes.

4. Data quality : 

- Execute and oversee data audits and reconciliations

- Implement automated reconciliations

- Monitor Data Quality Issue log, collate data quality issues and drive remediation

- Manage escalation process to resolve data quality and process issues.

5. Reporting & Investor Portal : 

- Execute and oversee the configuration and maintenance of automated and semi-automated reports

- Manage team's delivery on reporting, query building and maintenance

- Responsible for the timely provision of accurate and complete data to investors through Investor Portal

6. Change management :

- Assess impacts of proposed changes to the - Data Provider- systems, products and processes

- Assess impacts of proposed changes to the - Data User- data requirements

- Assist with interpretation of new requirements, validations

- Keep pace with change in the system environment

- Participate in projects to enhance the business- use of data

Skills Required :

- Product knowledge of financial instruments and products, particularly investment funds

- Exposure to process improvement and project management methodologies

- Knowledge of SQL and database relationships

- Knowledge of Alteryx and PowerBI data platforms

- Knowledge of BluePrism or other robotics solutions

- Data management best practice
