Associate Manager- M&A Due diligence - Financial/Business Research- TMT or Power and utilities sector

Job Description :

- Responsible for leading client interactions, delivery, and relationship building.

- Work across the entire M&A deal life-cycle from deal origination to closure, including transaction screening, proposals, pitchbooks, industry research, precendent transactions and comparative valuation analysis, opportunity papers, Information Memorandums etc.

- Manage a team of 6-8 people

- Measure, monitor and improve client service by closely collaborating with the client and guiding team members and driving excellence in service delivery

- Focus teams on the key priorities while working on and managing several medium-size projects

- Ensure smooth service delivery within the defined geographical area

- Ensure that team members deliver quality service as per client's needs and priorities

- Partner with internal and external clients to improve processes

Competencies / skills :

- Strong exposure working in a Transaction (M&A) Advisory or Corporate Finance environment

- Strong research experience in Technology and Telecommunication sectors or Power and Utilities sector, preferably in an M&A environment

- Expertise in preparing Pitch books, Industry research, Company research, Opportunity Papers, Information Memorandums

- Have good knowledge of valuations principles and financial statements

- Have worked on Financial model builds and has working knowledge of valuation techniques, e.g. DCF, Peer relative valuation analysis

- Strong financial research and analytical skills

- Good communication skills - both written and verbal

- Have good knowledge of research databases like Capital IQ, Factset, One Source, Factiva, Reuters, etc.

Desired Profile :

- CA/MBA/CFA with minimum 5-8 years of post qualification experience.
