Position title: Assistant Manager- Logistics

Reports To: Director Logistics

Location: West India

Industry: Pharmaceuticals

Division Overview:

- This department is responsible for cross-sector warehousing, distribution and transportation while staying focused on customer service.

Role Overview:

- This role is responsible for the Operations Management of Distribution Centres under the organization's Distribution Network.

- This includes the functional processes of receipting and storage of incoming material and picking, packing, invoicing & distribution of material as well as Order Management at DCs.

Explanation:

- Manage CFA operations for organization's CFA's.

Responsibilities:

- To ensure that adequate and appropriate systems are established and followed at the CFAs via SOPs & governance mechanisms.

- To facilitate & implement customer experience surveys.

- To support the organization for transportation of finished goods (cold chain, cool chain & ambient)

- To ensure rate contracts with them as well as drive on time performance

- To review, prepare and monitor the in transit losses & recover the same from the transporters.

- Lead time adherence to be monitored.

- To ensure that all the drug licenses (including wholesale, NDPS) are renewed on time without effecting the day to day working of the depots.

- To apply & procure NDPS export permits for central warehouse.

- To enable statutory & financial audits & close the audit observations through CAPA.

- To ensure that infrastructure available at CFAs is updated based on the product demand & future sales plans.

- To ensure distribution as per local regulatory & quality requirements. (D&C act, QA standards)

- To plan & monitor annual budgets for the year for CFA & Transporters.

- To identify & implement cost improvement projects.

Minimum requirements:

- 3-4 years related experience, preferably with Health Care industry

- MBA/PGDBM from a premium B- school.

- CPIM, CIRM certifications preferred.

- Experience using SAP (preferred) or other ERP statistical software packages
