JD:

- This position will be responsible for systematically architecting and investing in our employees’ capability process in order to achieve organizational objectives and long term strategy

- The incumbent will be a strategic leader as well as a hands-on training specialist.

Focus areas will be around the following:

- Work with business leaders and managers across the business to identify capability gaps, trends, and developmental opportunities.

- Develop Global interventions and programs that will help build the required capabilities

- Develop effective global leadership capabilities - across levels in order to funnel the leadership pipeline

- Create and deploy different types of training methodologies and media, in addition to classroom. This may include (and not restricted to) ELearning, Mobile learning, webinars , social & peer learning, etc

- Develop and deploy training curriculum for different job roles, job families, different regions across the globe, new hires, managers, leaders, etc. and integrate this. Ensure Skill based and Role based training solutions are articulated well across the business and global regions, in areas of Functional, technical, behavioral and leadership development

- Crowd source content - from the community, and not just that is developed officially

- Take corporate induction to next level of global effectiveness and develop/deploy effective functional on-boarding to ensure early productivity of the new joinees

- Set up and institutionalize a process of Train the Trainer / leader develops leader in order to have a multiplier effect and speedier implementation of the developmental interventions

- Move from training feedback to measuring the impact.

Person Specification:

- Post Graduation / MBA in any discipline

- Minimum experience in a Global IT / ITES / Telecom in L&D or Talent management function is required.

- A certified instructional designer (not essential, but highly desirable)

Requisite Skills: Domain & Functional

- Ability to understand and articulate the strategic value of integrated L&D processes with a strong business acumen

- Knowledge of Technology based learning tools

- Proven track record in having developed successful Learning and Development practices in Organizations with visible outcomes

- Strong influence, communication and negotiation skills required to influence employees and managers to address performance issues and development opportunities;

- Exposure and experience in Learning Management Systems and e-learning tools and processes;

- Strong interpersonal, articulation, written and oral communication & facilitation skills

- Proven track record in leading & engaging a high performing team
