Define policies and processes for expatriate management
- Support the Lead – Expatriate Management in creation of guidelines for managing the entire life cycle of expatriates or international assignees [assignee selection, compensation and benefits provision, performance management, relocation, during assignment management and end of assignment management] for all categories of assignees – India assignees, Other Country Nationals, External Hires, etc. and for different types of assignments – Long-Term, Short-Term, etc.
- Assist in establishing allowance/benefit levels for each country and review these on an ongoing basis to ensure that they are aligned with any changes in the market, country laws/ regulations, etc.
- Compute the revisedexpatriate allowances annually in line with the salary increases.
- Reviseexpatriate compensation elements from time to time to address issues such as exchange rate fluctuations, inflationary fluctuations and changes in cost of living, among others.
- Support the Lead – Expatriate Management in the implementation of international assignment initiatives such as localization, change of currency of salary payment, etc.
Tax and compliance
- Ensure tax compliance for expatriates around the world in conjunction with organisation’s preferred providers such as registration/ deregistration, monthly/ quarterly tax computation, arrival/ departure compliances, obtaining tax residency certificates and tax filing, among others for all categories of expatriates.
- Provide the inputs on authorization of assignees for the purpose of the taxation services such as quarterly calculations and tax return filing.
- Ensure that requirements around tax compliances such as responses to notices/assessments are addressed by the taxation partner.
- Ensure that adhoc assignee requests around information/ certificates are addressed, wherever required.

- MBA from a premier institute with relevant experience in the Compensation and Rewards function ,with specific experience in Expat Management.
