AM/DM/Manager - Actuarial - Life Insurance

- Work across a wide variety of projects including but not limited to Asset cashflow Modelling, implementation of IFRS 17, provide valuation support to the local JV partner and other similar projects. The technical requirements of each role will vary depending on the team the person is in and will be reflected in her/his annual objectives.

- Carry out general project base governance exercises like Contract Negotiation, Project Invoicing etc. along with a strong focus on the business development with

Roles and responsibilities :

Key responsibilities :

- Delivery of high quality agreed project tasks to the stakeholder in a time bound fashion.

- Undertake numerical analysis and manipulation using a range of systems and actuarial tools (Prophet, Excel, VBA etc.)

- Prepare and document simple computer programmes and models to clearly defined requirements.

- Respond to straightforward technical queries.

- Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the team in a range of project work as and when required.

- Seek and act on opportunities to develop wider and deeper technical and business understanding.

- Performance Management - follow and contribute to the recognized Performance Management process.

- Responsibility for the supervision of other junior team members or delivery of specific pieces of work.

Problem Solving :

- Maintain and develop knowledge of technical requirements of job together with the framework

- Ability to develop clear, workable plans for self; monitor progress of the other junior members of the team;

- Positive attitude to analyse a complex problem in a project to ensure the delivery of a sound solution to the project stakeholder.
