Opex Accountant- Candidate should be able to understand and apply Overhead/Opex accounting. Understanding of revenue recognition concepts a must.

- Opex Accounting Processing
- Manage the functional cost month end process to ensure all related balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed on a timely basis and in accordance with the financial accounting monthly timetable
- Completing the month-end EVO general ledger close process on an agreed basis with the Financial Reporting Manager. Ensure all interfaces from other systems (payroll etc.) are run in a timely manner and any errors are investigated and corrected
- Ensure month-end accruals and prepayments are complete and prepared and posted to EVO in accordance with the close timetable
- Review costs with key cost centre owners in the OpCo to validate and ensure the appropriate accounting is applied with regards to accruals and pre-payments in advance of WD4
- Management of Standing (Recurring) & Reversing journals as required.
- Produce suite of month end reports with qualitative and quantitative commentary for use by stakeholders at timelines to be agreed with the Financial Reporting Manager
