AM/DM - Central MIS Operations - Insurance

1. Gather and process appropriate data and information from various sources

2. Prepare MIS, Dashboards, Presentations for the management and various functions at defined frequency

3. Reconcile and check the information before being published

4. Provide operational data for planning, scheduling and control, target setting and help teams further in decision making

5. Should help in Strategic Planning, Management Control, Operational Control and Transaction Processing.

6. Should be experienced in working with interactive data visualization tools like Tableau, Cognos

7. Should have an analytical bent of mind

8. Quantitative Data Analysis aptitude: enjoys working with numeric data, can synthesize quantitative data to draw business conclusions

9. Ability to collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

10. Insurance knowledge will be an added advantage.

11. Benchmarking and Gap analysis- Compare CO business processes and performance metrics to industry bests and best practices from other companies, by measuring quality, time and cost, etc. and draw logical conclusions and action plans. Also, identify gaps between the optimized allocation and integration of the inputs (resources), and the current allocation-level.

12. Understanding end to end processes and implementing strategies around information management which would include the whole gamut of Insurance business viz, UW, Claims, Operations teams and Other support functions in Head office

13. Supporting reporting and ensure integration and institutionalisation of new processes.

14. Analysing the systems & process involved in collating information, streamlining the process of data collation, procuring necessary approvals & signoff on the requirement / logic / format, defining the TAT required to churn out the requirement

15. Constantly look out for automation as well as upgradation of systems to ensure elaborate support on MIS is provided to Sales and HO operations teams in a timely, accurate and error free manner.

16. Have indepth knowledge of processes and Systems especially of core system and support systems
