Category- Corporate Services – HR, Marketing, Print, Office supplies, Courier
Responsibilities-
- Periodic review of spend data across categories supported
- Analyzing trends involving multiple streams of data for a particular category of spend, studying the evolution of the category
- Providing assistance and advice on spend category as required to aid intelligent decision making.
- Analyzing commercial data and provide information to support initiation and monitoring procurement projects
- Work with the Category Lead Managers in identifying areas to conduct opportunity assessments
- Monitor purchasing trends, develop category knowledge and aid the collation of market intelligence
- Collate, interpret and present data to support the development of category plans and implementation of procurement strategy
- Support strategic sourcing projects (as and when needed)
- RFx support – baseline development, document collation, pricing sheet development etc.
- Bid/savings analysis
Domain Expertise
- Knowledge, understanding and application of spend analysis and strategic sourcing methodologies
- Knowledge of contracts and contract management
- Experience in managing categories esp. in a multi-national procurement set-up
- Thorough knowledge of category - general market trends, supplier base, cost drivers, sourcing methodology, sourcing levers etc.
Experience and general skills
- Graduate in any discipline with relevant experience of 7-10 years. Management Degree (MBA) will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint in particular)
- Willing to work in shifts
