Asst Operations Manager-clearing back office operations in equities, derivatives/Exp 2-5 years / Location-Mumbai

Job Profile:

- To function in the area of Clearing Member operations for Equity, Currency and Commodity Derivatives. The role holder has the responsibility to ensure that all the activities of clearing and settlement are carried out well within market timelines adhering to regulatory norms and timelines.

Responsibilities:

- Ensuring flawless operation of Trading and Back office systems across Equity, Derivatives, Currency and Commodity Futures segment.

- Build and maintain relationships with Exchanges & Clients on a regular basis for any issues/ developments relating to Trading, Risk Management and Settlement of various Exchange traded derivatives products.

- Constantly monitor and manage collaterals deployed at Exchange towards margin, based on internal LOBs and clients' requirement and liquidity available in the system.

- Conduct and monitor User Acceptance Test (UAT) once deliveries are received to ensure proper working of developments in Risk Management and Back office system within the prescribed timelines.

- Continuously reviewing processes to ensure operational, market and regulatory changes are incorporated in existing processes / system.

Competence:

- The job holder is required to possess good problem solving skills acquired through exposure to situations requiring solving problems with minimal supervision

- Able to understand and perform / execute the tasks assigned.

- Able to prepare test cases and test the deployment/up gradation of Risk Management and Back Office system related to Clearing Member operations.

Work Experience:

Preferred - Exposure to Indian Capital Markets in at least two of the following areas - Equities, Derivatives, Clearing Back office, Risk management, trading system. Experience in Clearing Member operations of NSE F&O for at least two to three years would be ideal.
