AM - Account Management

Main Function:

- The role is within the Network Management “Account Management” team, supporting the team in the opening of accounts at our external Agent Bank Network and other associated functions.The primary functions are to provide Middle Office support, Funding and Cash Management, Intraday Liquidity Management, Tri-Party financing , Network Management, Cost of Income Management, Analytics and Optimisation reporting, Change Management and Risk and Control.

- Account Management – Conduct regular dormant account reviews in line with the Dormant Account Policy , in order to keep the population of accounts at a manageable level, and helping to reduce unnecessary costs

- Documentation – To ensure we protect the Assets and Cash of our clients, ensure that the no-lien / Trust Status Letter is prepared for all accounts designated as “client”, for execution and signing by the regional teams.

- Reconciliation and Control – Various reconciliations are performed in order ensure that controls are maintained and to create transparency.

- Query Management – During the shift hours, ensure that any non-account Management queries not picked up by the regional teams are allocated to them as appropriate. Highlight any issues on this process to your Manager

- Regulatory Reporting – Network Management team provides the team, with various reports enabling them to complete their internal checks and regulatory reporting obligations. The timing of these reports is very tight and strict, and must be completed within the agreed timescales and sent to the regional teams for validation and sign off.

Skills:

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and it’s impact on the External Account Management processes (CASS etc)

- 2 years experience in a similar role required

- Must demonstrate a strong Control and Risk awareness

- Must have a good understanding of business and operational knowledge, especially around the settlements processes

- System Knowledge / Use SWIFT
