As a Director - Digital Strategy (DTC), you will play a strategic role by working in close partnership with the Vertical head towards the growth of the vertical. The role will require for you to define the digital and DTC roadmap for the clients. Your focus will be on helping CPG and retail clients achieve digital consumer intimacy, identify the value proposition for going DTC, help validate consumer intent and buyer insights to establish DTC business case and work with our eCommerce & solution architects to create DTC solution roadmap for clients. You will play an instrumental support role to our BD and Account Management teams and provide credentialed thought leadership while guiding, delivering and pitching the work.

You will provide leadership & direction to our global strategy team and accountable for the overall strategy team's performance, the achievement of goals and targets, and the alignment with the business's strategy. You will collaborate with both the strategy and creative/design team to shape stories and to identify new and compelling mediums to present them in. You will help drive forward the vision from conceptual and creative ideation through cross-channel execution.

Responsibilities :

- Work with C-suite executives to problem-solve on their key issues and provide actionable recommendations leveraging your technology know-how and business sense. You will apply standard consulting frameworks and methodologies and teach others to leverage those consulting techniques and application of tools in the proper context.

- Execute strategy consulting engagements where we help clients re-architect their digital capabilities to align with their goals for their customer experience.

- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with senior level client contacts.

- Provide consulting services to key clients; and drive continuous customer experience optimization. Enable clients to think and operate differently across omni-channel, commerce, digital experience, brand development, data/technology, analytics insights, research, human/culture, capital and change management considerations.

- Create actionable recommendations through strategic roadmaps that align the clients and organizations with their strategic goals and initiatives.

- Vertical Growth & Development: Work closely with the Vertical Head to define value proposition for strategy offering in DTC vertical.

- Support account managers and the business development team in presenting our strategic capabilities to vetted prospects and clients.

- Roll out vertical specific Service offering by coordinating with the various horizontal practice heads.

- Create capability, collateral and solution pitch for targeted customers

- Thought leadership :

a. Evangelize our work.

b. Create thought-leadership content to promote Altudo, represent the agency through speaking engagements and participation in industry groups.

KPIs :

- Ensures clients are delighted with work - we strive for 100% referenceable customers and believe that each engagement is an opportunity to build long-standing relationships and partners.

- Customer journey/digital touchpoint mapping.

- Building and managing web properties as part of an integrated approach.

- Process improvements to enable more agility with website /mobile /social platforms.

- Using mobile to support operational improvement efforts, customer engagement initiatives /new business opportunities.

- Overhauling customer-facing technology systems.

- Building applications that support the customer engagement model or other digital initiatives.

- Establishing digital metrics and measurements.

Job Requirement :

- Deep experience in DTC domain - with strong digital marketing experience. Recognized as a thought leader and evangelist in DTC, digital marketing & CPG vertical. 


- Experience of working with multiple (2 or more) digital agencies of repute.


- Agency background is a must and must have B2B experience besides B2C experience. 


- Should a strong background in strategy; in defining digital strategies for clients across web, mobile and social eco-system.


- Should have defined strategy for large websites, integrated digital marketing programs, ecommerce, social media etc across multiple industries. 


- Should have experience being involved in UX of projects 


- Experience in business development and creating pitches/proposal 


- Superior leadership, management, and communication skills. 


- The ability to roll-up sleeves and lead by example at both strategic and tactical levels. Combination of right and left-brain thinking that challenges the status quo.
