Responsibilities :
- Ongoing development and delivery of Real Estate Management business strategic plan, including customer and product expansion initiatives, marketing plans, platform enhancements, process improvements and talent management.
- Management of 45,000+ residential properties through the marketing cycle.
- Ensure that all assets are received in saleable condition from the Property Preservation and Inspection team.
- Early Stage Disposition strategy development and operations handling the marketing of occupied properties and the activities associated with property vacancy (legal eviction, including attorney network management, etc.).
- Coordinate with operations, brokerage, web, marketing, valuations teams and legal department to list assets on the market and ensure they are valued, priced and marketed to defined standards.
- Oversee the marketing plans for the all assets including MLS listing data and photographs, web portal presentation and any other required marketing collateral.
- Develop and oversee pricing and re-pricing strategies, offer acceptance strategies and negotiation strategies.
- Oversight of global operations forces supporting property marketing, offer negotiation and acceptance and closing activities.
- Accountable for all activities required to have the asset under contract within the terms of purchase and sales agreements with the highest possible likelihood of reaching final close.
- Manage investor reporting, acting as primary liaison between Altisource and its clients as it relates to REO and foreclosure asset portfolios
Key Result Areas :
- Lead and implement operational improvement projects through application of Six Sigma, LEAN and other quality engineering principles
- Maximize return for Altisource, its servicer clients and asset investors based on the optimization of asset selling prices, carrying costs and selling timelines.
- Accountable for achieving defined investor SLAs, and negotiating with stakeholders on SLA definitions as market conditions and other factors warrant.
Qualifications :
- Ability to integrate disparate information and the objectives of several constituents.
- Drive to recommendations that consider key organizational priorities and strategic imperatives.
- Must have acute problem solving skills, consensus building and influencing skills and a strong analytical capability.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Master Black Belt or Black Belt and proven ability to deliver successful projects.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility as well as the ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent process management skills including process design and improvement (basic awareness of lean, continuous improvement concepts).
- Existing understanding and experience in the Real Estate Brokerage Business as well as a solid understanding of the end-to-end cycle of a distressed residential real estate asset would be a plus, but explicitly not required.
- A four year degree from an accredited university is required, MBA from a top business school preferred.
- A demonstrated desire and capability to learn quickly will compensate for experience
