Responsibilities: - Train/mentor offshore Analysts to meet production and quality standards. Manage Post Closing staff to exhibit proficiency in meeting predetermined standards for credit quality, documentation accuracy and production efficiency. - Interpret state rules, statute laws, federal regulations & investor guidelines and apply them to specific loans - Review mortgage loan documents (closing and disclosures) in the loan file - Review loan file for compliance with all regulatory and clients guidelines/overlays - Audit the file from a closing & compliance standpoint on a daily basis and note any exceptions. Assess risk and review for Frauds and Red Flags - Audit closed loan disclosures and signed loan documents - Effectively communicate with US based Underwriters/Clients & SMEs to ensure quality output - Maintain a working knowledge of all current mortgage industry guidelines, federal and state lending laws and have the ability to interpret credit policy and investor guidelines. - Communicate performance metrics for each team member and lead staff toward exceeding stated business objectives. - Utilize decision and reporting tools to minimize variability, improve quality and maximize profitability of the business Key Result Areas: - Lead a team capable of delivering excellent customer service and excellent loan quality - Meet or exceed team/department productivity standard with 100% accuracy - Meet client SLAs and ensure customer satisfaction - Motivate, develop and retain a disparate employee base Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of work experience in Processing and Closing of which at least 2 years team management experience
