Unique intellectual property, such as the application of data analytics, business optimization software platforms, artificial intelligence-driven decision engines and risk decision models are used to deliver improved process performance, reduced outcome variability and improved compliance for Altisource and its clients.  Opportunity:  The Senior Counsel, Administration and Governance will be based in India and will be responsible for coordinating all of the Company’s legal work in India and the Philippines. This is a corporate generalist role, focused primarily on corporate governance and managing legal risk in relation to the administration functions of the Company in its India and Philippines locations. These functions include Human Resources, Finance, Facilities and Vendor Management. This position will work closely with the legal teams in Luxembourg and the United States and will have exposure to a wide variety of management level employees throughout the Company to include Senior Management.  Responsibilities include:   - Monitoring corporate governance practices for the Company in its India and Philippines locations;   - Providing legal counsel to the Human Resources, Finance, Facilities and Vendor Management teams as needed;   - Generally assisting with labor law matters, including employee benefits, wage and hour law compliance, employment litigation etc.;   - Serving as legal contact for all matters pertaining to State and Country laws and regulations applicable to the business and determine optimal compliance program to ensure compliance with such regulations;   - Providing hands-on negotiation, drafting and administration of contracts, including business process outsourcing, finance and commercial contracts; and   - Managing relationships with outside legal counsel and other vendors located in India and the Philippines.   Candidate:  - The ideal candidate will exhibit the following qualities:  - Record of outstanding success at a law firm and/or corporate setting, where innovation, collaboration and results are a high priority;   - Passionately embraces our unique operating proposition and our commitment to exceptional service and delivery excellence;   - Demonstrates an exceptional ability in communications, leadership and relationship building;   - Accomplished attorney who displays the persuasiveness, decisiveness and competitiveness necessary to motivate the team to meet our business goals;   - Highest ethical standards and professional integrity; and   - Attracted to fast paced, flexible and exciting environments offering a diverse set of responsibilities.   Qualifications:  - An L.L.B./L.L.M. from an accredited law school   - A minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience within an international company or a leading law firm involving regular interaction with senior level executives   - A strong understanding of corporate governance issues; Company Secretary experience preferred   - Broad transactional law experience, preferably including real estate, commercial, financing, intellectual property licensing and international transactions   - Exposure to Corporate, Consumer, Civil, MRTP & Arbitration matters or Labour & Criminal justice matters   - The ability to work effectively and collaboratively with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment   - Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy   - Strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service   - Willingness to travel both within India and internationally   - International experience a plus  To apply, please click on the button below.
