What we do tomorrow will be groundbreaking.  Consumer Analytics Division: Right now we are in the initial stages of launching – and spinning out - our Consumer Analytics team as a separate business unit to drive powerful big-data analytics products and solutions. We are leveraging our deep expertise in consumer psychology, quantitative modeling and data science, and software technology, and coupling those with our built-in customer-base to launch scalable platform solutions into the Financial Services industry, Healthcare, Hospitality, Telecom, and more.  Altisource is expanding its Predictive Analytics division. There are currently four areas in this division, mortgage services, consumer debt services, REO valuations, customer contact strategy, and each is focused on creating value-adding intellectual property delivered via customizable technology products and/or a professional services model.  Position Profile:  - You are passionate about computer science and mathematics. You aim to abstract, generalize and automate quantitative solutions to business problems. You like to think about thinking while dealing with the most difficult modeling and technology projects. You are looking for opportunities to work with large volumes of data. And more than anything, your goal is to build technology to generate analytical insights and actions from data. If that’s you, let us know.  KEY RESULT AREAS:  - Develop, build, maintain, test and deploy computing artifacts for mathematical, statistical and financial models for assessing probability of pre-payments, re-defaults, charge-off risk, loan resolution, portfolio optimization etc.   - Develop test automation and data processing software. Provide algorithm and model integration support to external and internal users. Provide assistance with troubleshooting in production and integration environments.   - Assist in performance tuning and optimization of model code.  REQUIRED SKILLS:  - Hands on programming experience in multiple programming languages including MATLAB/Java/SQL.   - Comfortable learning new programming languages and paradigms. Experience using third party APIs and products. Good understanding of systems architecture and related concepts. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Good communication skills. Good understanding of SDLC processes and concepts. Experience in high volume data processing using sql or nosql databases.  Preferred Skills: Experience working with MATLAB/R/C++/Java  REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:  - Engineering degree from IITs or top tier engineering colleges Masters degree in CS/EE/IT/Mathematics/Statistics /Operations Research from reputed colleges 4 or 5 years of experience in SDLC  PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:  - Experience in software development for quantitative modeling of financial products related to mortgage servicing or origination. Knowledge of US Mortgage Industry OR Fixed Income Securities. Experience in developing and troubleshooting software for high availability internet scale applications. Knowledge of web services frameworks. Exposure to big data and distributed computing concepts.
