Altisource Mortgage Services (AMS) provides support services to various segments in the Origination and Servicing business. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations & administratively to Corporate Training/Human resources
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a working knowledge of all current mortgage industry guidelines, federal and state lending laws and have the ability to comprehensively explain to the team
- Develop training content and build case studies for various mortgage processes
- Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge base and meet on-job/ refresher training requirements
- Coordinate with the leadership team in US to effectively execute training of India associates on the Title and Escrow
- Coordinate with operations team to ensure training logistic preparedness proactively
- Develop performance metrics for trainees and trainers and design reporting systems
- Utilize decision and reporting tools to minimize variability, improve quality and maximize yield from training
- Develop process to transition subject matter expertise to India associates
- Interact effectively with senior management, other departments and customers
- Evaluate performance of the Training Executive/s, the effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors as well as to evaluate effectiveness of training
Key Result Areas:
- Ensure comprehensive content development for process, workflow and systems training. This would include writing training content himself / herself as well as work with onshore specialists to obtain more and more detailed knowledge
- Create a team capable of training for excellent customer service
- Motivate, develop and retain a team of trainers
- Meet Training SLAs defined by operations, process and/or client requirements
- Monitor, analyze and report on training scores versus operational performance
- Establish knowledge transition process and maximize offshore staffing capability
Qualifications:
- Domain expertise in US Mortgage
- Direct experience of content development for financial service or mortgage product training
- Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2 years leading a team of trainers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the business sense to recognize both departmental and company priorities
- Open to working in shifts
