Head Product Design & Development for a Robotics Drone Company | Start-Up

- Looking for a Tech Co-Founder who is passionate about building tech for an upcoming startup and to be an active part in rapidly scaling up the startup with tech products/innovations in the drone/robotics space.

- Should have a good technical background and ability to conceptualize, design and bring to fruition finished products with limited resources.

- Shall work committed to exponential growth.

- Should be able to build a team of outstanding designers and engineers who are passionate about building cutting edge solutions.

- It's a complete Boot Strapped Startup. If you can believe the idea can be the next big thing and are willing to work for limited funds initially with equity share, we would love to see you on board.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Work with the founders in building the vision, architecture, team, technology stack, and platform(s).

2. Identify Market Opportunities. Identify opportunities or areas where consumers may want or need a product that does not yet exist. Take a bird's eye view of the industry, identify what is working and what needs are not yet being addressed, and determine whether that market presents an opportunity to establish and grow a successful company within that space.

3. Manage Product Development. Vital role in product development and implementation. Since we are still an early startup, he/she will be required to take a very active role in developing the product, determining specifications, and bringing that product into production. This aspect of the role is hands-on and critical, as successful product development can determine whether a new venture is ultimately successful.

4. Should be updated with all new trends, technologies, and approaches for constant product improvement.

5. Recruit, hire, and lead the technology team & related vendors.

6. Help build, manage, and validate a Tech Roadmap for our Products.

7. Architecture Practices: At startup, the dynamics of change; changes very fast. Making sure that best practices are defined and followed by team.

8. Methodology: With time, help build a progressive learning culture and establish a predictable model of envisioning, designing, and developing products.

9. Product Head will be an executive leader, it should be easy for him to understand the business opportunities which robotics/Unmanned machines/Drones could create. He should bring the perspective of tech as a differentiator for our startup.

10. Help in building a great place to work, which is a lot of fun & develops great team spirit.

Skill-set/Qualities :

- Stronghold in robotics and associated tech

- Aerial vehicle/ maritime engineering technology and development.

- Hands-on experience in coding/ML/AI

We are a veteran founded and led company and are looking for a person who can utilize our on-ground experience to develop high tech robotics and autonomous machine solutions across industry spectrums with special emphasis on defense, logistics, and industrial solutions applications.

The position is based out of Mumbai.
