Job title : Sr Manager Chartering / Dy Gm Chartering (Panamaxes)

Reporting to : Commercial Director

Location : Mumbai

Purpose of the position : The Candidate will be responsible for business on worldwide trading both cargoes and vessels on Panamaxes

Responsibilities & duties :

- Proficiency in Dry Cargo Chartering on Panamaxes both on time and voyage Charter

- Handiness in maintaining a cargo book on COAS & Spot cargoes and performances thereof with relevant

tonnages.

- Knowledge of FFAS and Paper Trading.

- Day to day monitoring of the markets worldwide for analysing trends beneficial for business including

bunkers and formulating desires to hedge as required.

- Prepare and Vet Charter Party Contract

- Monitor and guide operations team in business for optimal earnings with responsibilities of accounts and P&L

- Post voyage route analysis with corrections and innovations for future trades

- Providing commercial solutions to operational problems as and when required.

- Maintain clientele network and identification of further opportunities on both cargoes and tonnages.

Education & Experience :

- Preferred experience of 10 with at least min 5 years in handling Minerals, Ores and Grains in the subject

segment.

- Preferably graduate or Post graduate with a commerce background or International Trade
