Alpha Investments - Value Oriented Generalist Investor - Family Office

A value oriented family office focused primarily on long term investments in listed equities across market caps seeks a part time analyst to take a fresh look at existing listed equity holdings and also identify/monitor other quality businesses and price points for potential entry.

- Prefer experienced analysts who have witnessed atleast one market cycle and have worked across sectors and adopt a fundamental value investing approach with a focus on conducting deep research, quantifying risk/reward and thinking out of the box to foresee existential risks and optionalities embedded within businesses.

- Ability to go beyond desktop research and holistically conduct channel checks, promoter quality checks, etc.

- We would initially prefer a flexible part time model to build comfort and understand each other's investment styles and biases.

- Candidates may email a 1/2 page thesis on a company of their choice

- Formal qualifications are not prerequisites; however a proven ability to think laterally, curiosity and analytical skills/numeracy are.
