Alpha Alternatives is a multi-asset class alternatives asset management platform based out of India and Singapore, with over Rs 10,000 crores of assets under management, and deep focus on alpha generation. We are passionate about finding alternative investment opportunities that can deliver superior risk-return characteristics. We operate across various alternative spaces like Commodities, Equities, Absolute Returns, Structured Credit, Fixed Income and Quant. Our products span across various investment structures such as AIF, PMS, NBFC and FPI.

Our team consists of 160+ people who are vastly experienced across domestic and global hedge funds and financial institutions and have strong academic credentials at top universities.

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Support Specialist who aspires to transition into a Sales role. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in sales support functions, including offshore investor onboarding, documentation management, market mapping, and providing crucial assistance to the sales team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales operations while actively developing the skills and knowledge necessary to advance into a full-fledged Sales role.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Offshore Investor Onboarding:

- Facilitate the onboarding process for offshore investors, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and information.

- Act as a point of contact for offshore clients, addressing inquiries and providing necessary support.

2. Documentation Management:

- Manage and organize all relevant documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all documentation meets industry and organizational standards.

- Create and maintain comprehensive records for easy retrieval and reporting.

3. Market Mapping:

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies based on market insights.

- Provide regular updates on market conditions and opportunities to enhance the sales strategy.

4. Sales Assistance:

- Collaborate with the sales team to provide necessary support in client interactions and meetings.

- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials.

The person can scale up over time and could get an opportunity to be a part of the Sales team.

Qualification & Background:

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in sales support roles, preferably in a financial or investment setting.

- Hands on experience with Sales CRM systems

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel

- Strong organizational and documentation management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales-focused role.

Compensation:

Salary will be discussed individually with selected candidates and will be at par with industry norms. Compensation will have a significant element of performance-linked bonus.

This will be a fulltime Work from Office role at our Mumbai office. Candidates from outside Mumbai must have clarity on relocating to Mumbai.
