The Fund Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of various funds across all businesses of the group - Commodities, Equities, Derivatives, Credit and Quantitative strategies. The person shall be responsible for - Ensuring smooth end-to-end operations of various funds of the firm; - Liaising with various external counterparties: brokers, fund accountants, custodians, clearing members etc. as well as internal product teams; - Daily reconciliation of PnL, Trades, Positions, MTM, NAV with respective Fund Accounting Teams, and highlighting and resolving discrepancies if any; - Processing of trade requests across equity markets and physical commodity markets, and coordinating with external counterparties custodian, PCM etc. - Preparation of daily MIS, EOD Compliance reports; - Daily reconciliation of brokerage invoices of various funds; - Providing back end support for tax and audit purposes. The Fund Operations Manager shall report to the Operations Head and the COO of the firm Qualifications and DNA: - Strong academic credentials with a proven track record; - Minimum 2-3 years experience in fund operations across hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds / PMS, brokers / custodians; - Strong process orientation and high levels of attention to detail, and be able to operate the control function for the funds; - Basic understanding of equity markets, commodity markets, and asset management; - Team player with an entrepreneurial predisposition and strong interpersonal skills; - Intellectually strong with high levels of energy.
