Alpha Alternatives - International Commodity Fund Manager

We are seeking an entrepreneurial individual with a proven track record in commodity trading to build our team as an International Commodity fund manager. The candidate would be responsible for creating an international Commodity Hedge fund. The individual along with his/her team would manage $500 million over the next 5 years.

Responsibilities:

- Create an International Commodity Hedge fund to trade across all listed commodity exchanges

- Evaluate trading algorithms and implement diversified effective trading strategies to maximize profits while managing risk

- Build a high-quality team of traders and provide guidance and mentorship across all commodity verticals such as Energy, Bullion, Base Metals and Agriculture commodities

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities

- Monitor market conditions and adjust trading strategies accordingly

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and pursue new business opportunities

- Track and report on performance metrics, including P&L, volume, and risk exposure

Requirements:

- 7-10 years of experience in commodity trading, with a proven track record of success

- Leadership qualities, high energy, driven with an ability to meet targets & deadlines

- Deep knowledge of international commodity markets, including pricing, supply and demand dynamics, and regulatory frameworks

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and act on complex data

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across cultures and geographies

- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

- Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail
