Committed to maintain the highest standards of transparency, regulatory compliance, and risk management, we are seeking a diligent and experienced professional as Head - Due Diligence working very closely with the Group COO. The candidate will be leading all the Due Diligences conducted by Institutional Investors and Distributors (both offshore and onshore) for onboarding our products on their respective platforms. The core responsibility will be to lead and run the DD process with these external counterparties and successfully get them completed within due timeframe.

Qualification & Background:

We are seeking a high achieving candidate, an MBA with 10-20 years of experience having worked in a large asset management companies or consulting firms, as our Head of Due Diligence. An ideal candidate is expected to have prior experience in conducting due diligence of funds and other legal structures to ensure that the funds/legal structure have high functioning standards, commensurate with the requirements of Institutional investors or Distributors (International and Domestic).

1. You will be expected to have an understanding and knowledge of the investment products, Operations and Processes, Compliance and Governance, Risk Assessment, Committee structures, Policy and SOPs, and Reporting.

2. You will be expected to have excellent communication and relationship management skills with external stakeholders.

3. You will be faced with tight timelines and advanced project management skills help for running multiple DDs with tight timelines.

4. Ability to collaborate with various teams, including legal, compliance, and investment, to gather information and ensure a comprehensive due diligence process.

5. You are expected to have a keen eye for detail.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead all the DD process initiated by Institutional Investors or Distributors from our side and successfully complete all the DDs.

2. Anticipate all the challenges that may come up in a DD and have a solution-oriented approach to mitigate these challenges in advance.

3. Interacting with the Product team and Compliance teams regularly to ensure that all the products of the platform are DD-ready at any point of time.

4. Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements that may impact due diligence procedures.

5. Continuously improve due diligence processes, incorporating best practices and leverage technology for increased efficiency and accuracy.

Compensation:

Salary will be discussed individually with selected candidates. We value long-term players and the compensation will have a significant element of performance-linked bonuses. In the long run, if you do well, you can expect to create disproportionately higher value for yourself.

Location: Dadar, Mumbai.
