Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Algorithmic Execution / Senior Quant Developer with 5-10 years of experience to head the execution of the quant trading desk. You will work closely with the Quant researchers and will be responsible for managing the live trading environment, optimizing trading, and constantly improving execution. Qualification & Background: - Proven experience in leading HFT/Buy Side/Prop Firm working with Quant Researchers on building data and execution pipeline - Knowledge of financial trading systems (feed handlers, OMS, order execution, FIX feeds) - Knowledge of market data and events including news & corporate actions - Excellent problem-solving skills and strong quantitative and statistical skills - Excellent programming skills in either Python or C/C++/C# is a must. Familiarity with Linux is a plus - An undergraduate or masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering from top universities Roles & Responsibilities: - Developing real-time execution strategies and constantly improving execution - Managing the live trading environment - configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the trading, automating common tasks, and preparing for the unexpected - Coordinating the rollout of a new trading strategy with quant researchers - Understanding computer network & infrastructure - API and connectivity to exchanges, handling order and trade flow from AA's strategy desks, interfacing with exchanges & other external parties to support trading - Improving execution logic, analyzing slippages and impact costs, and finding ways to improve P/L. - Covering everything from systems infrastructure, margin management, overnight clearing, slippage monitoring, and performance improvement Compensation: Salary will be discussed individually with selected candidates, and the compensation will have a significant element of performance-linked bonuses.
