Alpha Alternatives (https://www.alt-alpha.com/) is a multi-asset class asset management platform driven by alpha generation and partnerships, based out of India and Singapore. The platform is well capitalized with significant prop capital and over 2,500 Cr. of committed assets under management. We create alternative investment products across Equities, Commodities, Credit and other alternative asset classes that target high returns with superior risk-return characteristics for our investors and our own proprietary capital. We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with 4-5 years of work experience (preferably in mid-sized to large professional services firm including Big 4s), looking forward to an extremely intense and challenging role in the initial years of his/her career in our hedge fund-styled investing platform. - As an Associate, you will be required to drive fund structuring assignments from tax and regulatory perspective, review fund setup documents like private placement memorandum, trust deed and contribution agreements. Additionally, you will also be supporting the Platform Partners for designing and building products for the other asset classes and creating structures in India and offshore to facilitate capital raising. We expect you to have a strong hold over advisory and compliances related issues pertaining to NBFCs, FPIs and AIFs. - If you demonstrate good leadership qualities, you can expect to migrate to an important role on the business-side. In the long run, if you do well, you can expect to create disproportionately higher value for yourself. - Only candidates with stellar academic credentials in CA shall apply. Candidates with multiple CA attempts shall expect to get shortlisted only if their CVs have an extra-ordinary achievement that clearly distinguishes them from other candidates.
