Qualification & Background: - We are looking for a candidate to join as an Analyst - Fund accounting and Client reporting for our Cat II and Cat III AIFs, PMS and other investment products/structures, reporting into the COO. - The ideal candidate will have a work experience of 3-5 years in fund accounting or similar role at a reputed organisation. - 3-5 years of experience in fund accounting / administration services for AIFs or PMS - Strong orientation towards numbers. Clear concepts around IRR, hurdle, carry, etc. - Excellent Excel skills - Strong academic background; ideally a Chartered Accountant. - Strong Accounting Concepts. Understanding of the Accounting Standards (at least Indian Accounting Standards) and the ability to relate them to the disclosures in the Financial Statements. - Extremely high process orientation with an understanding and capability of managing risk across the portfolio - Ability to understand and anticipate requirements and build processes and systems Roles & Responsibilities: - Driving initiatives on Fund Accounting and NAV Calculation. Ensuring that the NAV computation, Distribution allocation and XIRR computation are done accurately. Assuming responsibility for all Fund Accounting related operational tasks. - Developing MIS and Reconciliation dashboards for all investments. - Performing analytics on Product performances based on various parameters - Running Process Improvements to adapt to increasing scale of AUM and operations. - In-house single point contact with all ; Fund Managers, Custodians, Lawyers, Clients, Auditors, Regulators and other stake holders - Ensuring that Senior Management is updated on a regular basis regarding all aspects of account, highlighting all potential risks with possible solutions in a timely manner. - Completing all mandatory filings with SEBI and other regulatory authorities within due dates. Corresponding with the regulators for any query resolution. - Assisting in preparation of Fund documents, Compliance manuals, and any other documentation with respect to Fund investments DNA: - Ideal candidate would bring a strong combination of a professional attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset. - The ideal candidate would have a long-term career orientation and look at building out a career path towards heading the Fund Accounting / Operations team in a span of 3-5 years. Compensation: Salary will be discussed individually with selected candidates. We value long-term players and the compensation will have a significant element of performance-linked bonuses.
