Alliance Data partners with over 150 brands to deliver best-in-class credit loyalty programs. - The Credit Risk Underwriting and Account Management function is responsible to facilitate profitable growth, regardless of industry or credit product, by approving profitable applicants and ensuring they have the appropriate available credit, while adhering to the contractual guidelines and parameters. The Senior Analyst, Credit Management is responsible for completing the required analysis for a portfolio of clients and recommending necessary changes to parameters, with some guidance from the Credit Risk Manager. Education, qualifications and knowledge, skills and abilities that are minimal to this role are as follows : - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field such as Statistics or Accounting. Three or more years of work experience including : - Experience coding in SQL and SAS (or comparable software) - Experience working with credit card data preferred - Demonstrated understanding of how to underwrite credit card applications and manage credit limits - Strong working knowledge of the credit card industry - Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Pivot Tables - Proven ability to analyze numeric data and trends, including root cause analysis - Proven ability to draw conclusions and form recommendations based on data analysis
