JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Strategize & build new business lines towards significant revenue.
- Build GTM strategy & business plan; in parallel, develop independent clientele & partnerships (while maintaining databases) and close strategic opportunities with education entities in India & outside.
- Gather market feedback & refine offerings to introduce/ strengthen newer business lines.
- Build, coach, and manage a team of up to 5 BD associates; ensure strong client service through collaboration with relevant cross functional teams.
- Ensure client engagement and continuous sales growth, by proactively seeking feedback, understanding pain points/requirements and articulating value that can be provided by company.
- The role will involve extensive domestic as well as potentially international travel.
4. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Zero to one experience of min. 1 year (preferably 3 to 5 years) as a founder / core team of an early stage startup.
- Experience in education companies (publishers, tech products, assessment, etc.) will be a plus.
- Experience managing revenue conversion from scratch in a rapidly changing environment preferred.
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with clients and partners with strong client service & high integrity at every step; good verbal and written communication.
- Navigate stakeholders at all levels of the client organization including C-level executives
- Drive, proactiveness & entrepreneurial orientation to take deals to closure and pursue growth.
- High comfort with common tech for work i.e. Google suite and MS Office suite.
