Job Description

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic technical professionals for multiple openings for Senior Machine Learning Engineers / Researchers in a fast growing team of high-energy and world-class talent. The candidate must be capable of developing challenge products related to machine learning, computer vision, NLP, data science and IOT.

Algorythma is a well-funded start-up company focused on developing game-changing products, using cutting edge technology in the markets of next generation financial systems, investment platforms, education, Fintech, multimedia streaming and others. Selected candidates are to play a key role in the creation, design and implementation of machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, in our products. If you love to innovate and deliver results, then we want you to be on our team. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Major Responsibilities

- Work within our machine learning team to research, design, code, train, test, deploy and iterate on new commercial products

- Perform applied research and create innovative solutions in the areas of machine learning, computer vision, video analysis, NLP, deep learning, data mining, IOT, AI and HCI algorithms

- Collaborate with software engineering teams, HCI design teams and product teams to integrate experimental capabilities into large-scale production systems

- Work with external technology service providers and / or research institutions to deliver viable solutions

Basic Qualifications

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or any related field(s)

- Proven record of building machine learning, computer vision, NLP and / or data mining systems

- 4+ years of software development experience with strong skills in Python, Java, and / or C/C++

- Experience in working with machine learning and computer vision software packages (e.g., Opencv, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Caffe, Theano, Torch, R, Matlab / Octave)

- Strong problem solving skills; must be able to work independently, but also be a co-operative team player.

Preferred Qualifications

- Quantitative PhD will be considered as a plus point

- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, software design and parallel processing. Must have the ability to pick up new technologies quickly

- Strong background in one of the following fields; research publications in the same fields will be considered as a plus point:

Machine learning and data mining, with a broad understanding of unsupervised and supervised learning methods

Computer vision and pattern recognition (e.g., object detection and tracking, face recognition and data fusion)

NLP (e.g., speech recognition, language translation, handwriting recognition and TTS).

Deep learning and reinforcement learning

- Result-oriented with a strong customer focus. Must have the ability to communicate well and discuss complex topics with both technical and business-related audiences
