The position would be working closely with India leadership, to set up and manage HR function for Algorythma in India. Key responsibilities would include:
Talent Acquisition:
- Responsible for hiring world-class talent across functions and levels for technology center in India
- Run programs/campaigns to promote Algorythma as a preferred employer for technology talent in India -like Hackathons/events.
- Support team at HQ with hiring needs for their global operations (in UAE and elsewhere)
HR Operations, Learning & Development:
- Working closely with business managers in India and HR team in UAE, to develop HR practices in-line with industry best practices
- Ensure effective implementation of HR policies & practices across the organization
- Industry benchmarking of compensation and benefits; Working with the business manager to implement these practices in the organization.
- Create and run programs for employee engagement and retention
- Create forums and facilitate interactions between the employees & the management on a regular basis
- Working with line managers to identify and resolve Human Resources issues, and determine specific HR business needs within the division
- Training, career development planning and implementation of employee development programs within the division
- Responsible for all regulatory compliances for HR as per local labour laws
Background and Experience:
- 12+ year's experience in setting up and managing HR functions in technology product companies/startups
- Experienced in building strong and effective technology teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Open to work in a fast-paced, matrix organization
- MBA / Masters in HR from a reputed organization would be a preference
