India has many outstanding programs in health delivery, exemplars of innovation on multiple fronts. These programs, both government and private sector, are rich repositories of knowledge and should ideally serve as a public good to inform new and existing interventions. This knowledge is not shared for a variety of reasons, thus promoting a culture of secrecy and short-sightedness. Wheels are reinvented, there is loss of efficiency, effectiveness and ultimately lives.   Alexander Associates aims to bridge this gap to enhance Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH) public health delivery at scale. The current scope of work is as follows:  - Developing knowledge products (including monographs, operating guidelines, case studies and so on) through documentation of core interventions, best practices and learnings from Antara Foundation's Akshada program and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's (BMGFs) Ananya program.   - Developing a knowledge repository of lessons, best practices and innovations from 50 exemplary Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition(MCHN) programs in India.   Alexander Associates is presided by Ashok Alexander, who has been in senior leadership roles as director at McKinsey & Company and head of BMGF's India office for 10 years. At BMGF he led Avahan, their flagship India HIV/AIDS prevention program, which became the world's largest such program. Building on these learnings the Antara Foundation was established to move the needle on MCHN indicators. Antara interventions enhance the public health system to consistently deliver products and solutions with scale, appropriate speed and quality, backed by supportive policy and funding.  Alexander Associates is an endeavour to capture such learnings and inform programs all over the developing world. We are currently looking for qualified and motivated candidates to join our team.  Job Title: Associate  Reporting to: Team Leader   Duty Station: New Delhi, with domestic and international travel as required  Responsibilities:  - Review publications to develop indicators and frameworks for documentation of interventions  - Conduct secondary and primary research, from program sites, to collect data for documentation  - Synthesize data in a written report, adhering to highest standards of writing and presentation  - Synthesize and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from various secondary sources  - Prepare and present periodic progress reports in PowerPoint and other formats   - Write media and academic articles, under guidance of senior team  - Coordinate with vendors on various fronts  - Present findings in internal and external forums, as and when required  - Network in the public health community   - Perform other tasks as assigned by the Team Leader or President  Qualifications:  - MBA or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Public Health or related field  - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (project management, research, documentation, data analysis)  - Ability to produce thorough, high quality work within a tight timeframe  - Excellent skills in oral and written communications (both English and Hindi)  - Understanding of research methods and strong analytical skills  - Ability to gather quality primary data and assess reliability and validity of secondary data   - Ability to work independently and as a team player in a complex, multicultural environment, with demonstrated leadership, communication, networking and presentation capabilities  Compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate to expertise.
