US Payroll Specialist

Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable Payroll Specialist to process and manage the US payroll. Payroll specialists will use ADP payroll software with accuracy and efficiency. Should be good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. Should have great communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Candidate should have complete knowledge of end-to-end US Payroll process.

- Gather information on hours worked for each employee.

- Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with the assistance of a computer system.

- Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute pay checks.

- Process US taxation and payment of employee benefits.

- Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc. in the ADP payroll system.

- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.

- Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.

- Should have hands-on experience with ADP and other Payroll tools.

- Willing to work from office.

- Willing to work from 3 PM - 12:00 AM shift (flexible)

Requirements and skills:

- Proven experience as a payroll specialist or Analyst.

- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices

- Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the US Payroll and taxation.

- Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software (e.g. ADP, Kronos, Payforce) and databases

- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality

- Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills

- Graduate or Post-graduate or equivalent; BSc/BA or MBA in HR, accounting or relevant field is a plus
