Al-Sayer Group - Senior Manager - Finance

- Plan, organize, coordinate, control and manage the Finance section.

- Review Accounts and liaise with appropriate Group/ Departmental Managers to highlight actual and potential problems/ variances.

- Propose, upgrade the financial and accounting systems in a manner which meets latest developments/ International standards.

- Liaison co-ordinates with Bankers and Financial institutions.

- Ensure adherence to Finance department objectives.

- Monitor and approve payment of salaries and wages.

- Ensure payments to suppliers are made on due dates.

- Attend to both Internal & External Auditors review and audit process needs and ensure prompt response to respective queries and implementation of approved recommendations, complying with company policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as per the directives of CFO.

- Review and monitor compliance and internal control procedures relating to finance functions.

- Review and validate the documentation for stock order.

- Advice Treasury on excess/short cash holdings for each bank account maintained by the company.

- Ensure proper Control and Insurance coverage for all Company Assets.

- Monitor Forex movements and intimate on procurement of currency based on company requirements.

- Liaison with Customs Department to ensure prompt duty refund where applicable and documentation/payments to ensure prompt clearance of goods.

- Manage collection and/or liaison with Credit Manager for collection of Trade debt for entire company.

- Liaise with IT department and external consultants to facilitate, design and spearhead and implement computer systems across the company.

- Review and validate Trade Credit in liaison with CFO.

- Liaise with other internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient running of the business unit.
