Job title: Innovation and Strategic Project Management

Location: Bangalore

Qualification and Experience: MBA with Operations/ Finance/ Marketing/Strategic Management as specialization with 0 to 3 Yrs experience working in Cross Functional Teams, Problem Solving Tools, Addressing Bottle necks, Operations Management and Project Management in a Manufacturing or Engineering or Consulting domain.

Experience in Marketing strategy, Opportunity recognition & Innovation, Entrepreneurship

Primary Skills: Gantt Chart, Prince2, Business Strategy, Marketing and operations, Strategic Project Management, Working with Cross Functional Teams, Problem Solving, Resolving Bottlenecks,

Travel Requirements: Need basis, 1 week in a month.

Position Summary:

- The person is primarily responsible for managing innovation & strategic projects across Akshaya Patra in line with the innovation goals and objectives of the organization. The position also co-ordinates for the various projects to be implemented and ensures proper documentation of the same to evaluate the results achieved. The position also works closely with other interdependent positions / departments as may be required

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Project manage innovation & strategic projects, training/ workshops to drive innovation cultural change across the organization. Assess change readiness and prepare plans for helping stakeholders through transformation.

- Business case & financial model preparation for all projects

- Utilize various project management tools & Business improvement tools to execute projects & activities that are aligned with business objectives.

- Prepare detailed plans to track project performance and assure timely completion and achievement of project deliverables.

- Ensure deployment of common solutions across divisions and businesses.

- Support to eliminate any bottlenecks across all innovation & strategic projects

- Develop and conduct program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure transformation is sustained.

- Deliver the reward and recognition program as per Akshaya Patra Innovation & Initiative program.

- Co-ordinate with outside agencies as required to drive results

- Support in execution as required to achieve project results in multiple locations of Akshaya Patra as required by the project

- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Desired Candidates Profile:

- Good Verbal and Presentation Skills.

- Analytical & Problem Solving Skills.

- Team player and Proficient with MS Office.

- Prior experience in Project Management or innovation will value add.

- Travel Requirements: Willing to travel as required by the project.

- Languages Known: Proficient in English, Hindi.
