Purpose of the job:
The incumbent will be responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the AIRTEL PAYMENTS BANK Business / products in designated regions
Key Responsibilities:
- Influencing the sales organization (COO/S&M heads, ZBM) to deliver all Airtel Payments Bank KPIs for the zone
- AIRTEL PAYMENTS BANK P&L owner for the regions with responsibility of strategic and operational aspects of the regions
- Rollout of demand generation programs for various use-cases to enable targeted acquisition of customers
- Acquisition of customers across various use cases through marketing and sales program
- Ensuring right quality of customers acquired across the zones
- Getting new B2C and B2B merchant signed up cross identified use-cases as per national strategy
- Driving AIRTEL PAYMENTS BANK products including remittance, savings accounts etc
- People management- with sales and functional AIRTEL PAYMENTS BANK team reporting to the incumbent
- GTM and partner profitability
Challenges:
- Being a new business category it's important to ensure roll-out and execution of demand generation activities, which needs to be rolled out through ZMs and mobility TMs/ZSMs in the zones.
- Getting new merchants like utility boards onboard will require continuous persuasion and follow up of various government officials and involving circle senior management. This needs to be done in consultation with the AIRTEL PAYMENTS BANK Center Alliance Team
- Aligning and working with circle ECs / COO and ZBMs to drive AIRTEL PAYMENTS BANK products priorities
Qualification : MBA from tier 1 institute
Working Experience : 6-10 years of Channel Sales and distribution experience
