Service Procurement Lead - Manager/Sr.Manager  Purpose of the Job:  As the Customer Services Procurement lead the incumbent is responsible for handling the following:   - Bringing Services procurement in the areas of Insurance (Property, Life and Liability), Consulting, HR, other Finance and SCM services under one-Airtel global umbrella   - Finalize Global Agreements and ensure implementation of the same across all businesses  - Ensuring Transparency and enhanced governance in Services procurement.  - Tracking Costs and ensuring efficiencies year on year.  - Partner Management  Deliverables :  Selection, Development and Management of Strategic partners:  - Identification of areas, those are presently decentralized but need to be brought under One-Airtel domain.   - Identification of Cost drivers for each of the Service line items and creating plans around them.  - Agree to costs and pricing in line with Airtel growth story and in commensuration with the Scale of Airtel operations.  - Contracting Services for Bharti Airtel. Contracts to have the best in class terms and conditions.   - Benchmark Rates with the best in Industry.  - Ensure decimation and compliance to these Contracts  For Contract not centralized, Rationalization of Vendors at the country level to ensure better Management and control of Services.  Efficient plans for Standardization and adherence to AOP :  - Issuance of Cost guidelines for all Business units in the above areas. The position shall be responsible for these costs.  - Drive standardization of OPEX purchase procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency in procurement and sourcing practices across businesses and geographies.  Conduct cost benchmarking - Rationalization to get economies of scale :  - Ensure vendor base is right sized for maximum volume/cost savings leverage across all Business Units.   - Manage Vendor capacity and capability to meet the Scale and Business requirements.  - Ensure Vendor base can meet the ramp-up requirement for the next 3 years.  - Engage in costs and quality benchmarking through informal market research, quality and cost interrelationships/ cost benefit analysis.  - Develop cost benchmarks by checking rates given to other clients and competitors by vendors.  - Evaluate market standards in discount and cost patterns.  - Develop processes for half yearly / annual release of rate references for all major locations.  Design programs to achieve targeted cost savings:  - Implementing common procurement methodology across all business units  - Lead Value Engineering efforts to reduce costs  - Collect end-user feedback to improve service delivery design  - Conduct surveys to identify best sources of OPEX items procurement with efficient purchase and supply routes.  - Actively monitor utilization of services across regions to understand utilization patterns, formulate better purchasing practices, and obtain institutional discounts.  - Identify alternate methods of spend optimisation through purchase trend analysis.  - Streamline purchase processes to optimise costs.  - Ensure compete compliance to implemented processes.  5.Effective Global contract management ( adherence to scope/ SLA's and KPI's of the contracts ):  - Design, implement contract management processes.  - Ensure review of compliances and corrective action on variances  - Initiate corrective actions and improvement plans.  6.Management of Vendor expectations :  - Improve Vendor Satisfaction both at the Strategic Partner and Class B Level Contracts.   - Assess vendor performance and rate vendors on metrics of cost, quality, and service parameters.   - Build healthy relationships with regular vendors in order to negotiate better costs /qualities.  Educational Level:  BE and MBA  Working Experience:  7+ years of experience in handling procurement and sourcing of services for HR, finance, insurance, consulting etc
