Airtel - Manager - Indirect Taxation

Purpose of the Job:

To monitor / review accounting of Direct & indirect Taxation and reporting it to Airtel management in India on monthly/ quarterly basis. To ensure compliance to the IFRS, Ind AS, Local GAAP wherever applicable.

Key Responsibilities: Indirect Tax

1.Compliance with respect to GST, VAT, CST, Entry Tax and Entertainment Tax.

2.Closure of Indirect Tax Assessments of VAT, CST, Entry Tax and Entertainment Tax.

3. GST Audit, Reply to Show Cause notices and attend hearings.

4. Drafting of Appeals, filling and attend hearings.

5. Dealing with departments like Commercial Taxes, Entertainment Taxes and follow-up with Consultants.

6. Working experience in Service Tax like tax payments, returns fillings, reply to Show Cause notices etc.

6. Well updated on GST.

1. Good communication skills, Confident, Liasioning capabilities with Government Departments.
