AVP- Product Manager, Insurance & Lending:

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and hands-on senior product manager who can launch and grow the insurance business to the next level. The leader would get an opportunity to work at a scale of millions of users and would first-hand experience building products for the next billion Indians. Responsibilities:

- Independently set the product vision and strategy with measurable outcomes.

- Identify team combinations that optimise the delivery of these outcomes.

- Work with cross-functional teams that include engineering, design, regulatory, legal, finance, and marketing to launch products with high velocity.

- Dive deep to generate actionable insights and refine products based on customer feedback to take products to the next level.

- Drive clarity on highly complex and ambiguous projects.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of product management experience.

- Prior experience in the insurance domain is mandatory. Should know the regulatory and industrial landscape.

- Technical skills sufficient to understand product complexity without developer inputs and work with developers/architects to make the right technical trade-offs.

- Experienced in working in an agile environment with scrum ceremonies.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to refine messages based on the audience.

- Adept in go-to-market strategies and growing businesses 0 to 1 and 1 to 10.

- Track record of launching multiple products with high velocity and impact.

Common Clarifications:

- This is a work-from-office role based out of Airtel's Gurugram office.

- This is not a team management role at the start, but the individual is supposed to grow into it.

- The individual should be comfortable working in ambiguity and is expected to take initiatives for product growth.

- This role is akin to working in a high-growth startup, so please expect stretched hours sometimes.
